For the best results, these plates are recommended for use with printmaking inks such as Akua Intaglio, Akua Liquid Pigment, Speedball Block Printing Inks, and Speedball Screen Printing Inks. It is important to note that these plates are not suitable for use with traditional acrylic paint, but oil-based paints and slow-drying acrylic paints may be used, taking care not to let the paint dry on the plate.
