The screen printing photo emulsion method enables artists to produce highly-detailed photographic stencils. Speedball's diazo photo emulsion & sensitizer provides professional-grade results without the need for costly equipment and darkrooms. Suitable for use with polyester screen fabrics, Speedball's diazo photo emulsion & sensitizer can be paired with water-soluble or solvent-based inks and can be effortlessly removed using Speedball's photo emulsion remover. The diazo photo emulsion must be combined with the diazo sensitizer.

CREATE HIGHLY DETAILED IMAGES - This method allows artists to produce intricate or photographic stencils for screen printing without the need for a darkroom.

NO DARK ROOM NEEDED - Achieve professional-grade results without the expense of specialized equipment and darkrooms. Emulsion can be mixed and applied under normal light conditions, but must be stored in a dark place until ready for exposure.

USE WITH ANY WATER-BASED OR SOLVENT-BASED SCREEN PRINTING INK - Speedball’s Diazo Photo Emulsion & Sensitizer is designed for use with polyester screen fabrics and is compatible with both water-based and solvent-based inks.

EASILY REMOVES WHEN FINISHED - The emulsion can be easily removed from the screen using Speedball's Diazo Photo Emulsion Remover, making it simple to reclaim the screen for future use.

MUST BE ACTIVATED - Speedball’s Diazo Photo Emulsion is a two-step process that requires the addition of the diazo sensitizer to activate the photo emulsion. The Speedball Diazo Sensitizer is sold separately.
