You can use Mayco Stroke And Coat glazes, available in 2-ounce bottles, on wet clay or bisqueware fired from Cone 06 to Cone 10. These glazes do not require thinning and can be intermixed to create your desired shade. Apply one coat for a graceful, translucent finish, or use up to 3 coats for rich opaque coverage, perfect for a majolica technique. These low fire cone 06 glazes are Freeze/Thaw stable and can be applied to wet clay or ceramic bisque.

After firing in a ceramic kiln, the Stroke And Coat glazes have a glossy appearance. For maximum shine, apply a clear glaze over them before firing. Brush colors on with 1 coat for a translucent finish or 3 coats for rich opaque coverage. These glazes are Food Safe, do not contain Lead or cadmium, conform to ASTM D-4236, are AP Certified Non-Toxic, and the colors are inter-mixable.
