The Stroke And Coat glazes by Mayco come in 2-ounce bottles and can be applied to wet clay or bisqueware fired from Cone 06 to Cone 10. There is no need to thin the glaze, and the colors can be mixed together to create your desired shade. One coat of glaze will result in a graceful, translucent finish, or can be used for the majolica technique. If you prefer a more opaque coverage, you can apply up to 3 coats. The glazes are freeze/thaw stable and come in the following colors: Blue Yonder, Moody Blue, Irish Luck, Green Thumb, Sun Kissed, Orange-A-Peel, Rosey Posey, Grapel, Hot Tamale, Java Bean, Cotton Tail, and Tuxedo. The set also includes a book on how to paint bisque.

The Stroke And Coat glazes are low fire cone 06 glazes that become glossy after firing in a ceramic kiln. For maximum shine, it is recommended to apply a clear glaze over them before firing. You can apply the colors with one coat for a translucent finish, or three coats for a rich, opaque coverage. The glazes are food safe, contain no lead or cadmium, conform to ASTM D-4236, are AP Certified Non-Toxic, and the colors can be mixed together.
