Underglaze Class Pack

The Mayco Fundamentals Underglazes set includes 12 pint colors. These colors are China white, bright yellow, orange, fire engine red, dragon red, regal purple, bright blue, kings blue, apple green, leaf green, chocolate, and jet black. These underglazes are extremely versatile and can be used for full coverage or to create design elements. They can be applied to wet clay, greenware, or bisque.

When applying underglazes to a textured surface, it is important to dab excess color out of the texture and avoid allowing the glaze to pool inside the textures. These underglazes are formulated to mature at Cone 06/05, but most maintain their color at higher temperatures as well. It is recommended to test the underglazes on your clay body and in your kiln before using them on finished pieces for best results.
